Join Us for a 3-part yoga series, BUILDING BLOCKS OF YOGA, featuring Laurie Searle (aka Lady Yoga). Lady Yoga hails from California with a depth of knowledge and expertise to share via this yoga intensive, comprised of 3 class themes over 3 weeks, and designed to heal and nurture your body in areas often most vulnerable, and certainly most essential to a safe, deep and meaningful practice:  heart openers, joints, and knees.

Meet Lady Yoga:

Nationally certified Yoga instructor (ERYT-500-Hour ) & personal fitness trainer, weight management & nutrition specialist (National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM): mat Pilates instructor. A self proclaimed Yogini, Laurie received her first certification with Sonic Yoga in New York City; studied with Sri Dharma Mittra, and received her 500HR certification with Will Duprey. Laurie has studied with Yogacharaya Shri K. Pattabhi Jois (Guruji), the father of Ashtanga Yoga & Srivatsa Ramaswami (Vinyasa  Krama). She received her Yoga For Youth Certification with Krishna Kaur, and studied Ayurveda with Dr. Jay Apte, Mas Vidal & Arun Deva. She received her teen/senior citizen fitness training certification with NASM. Laurie has practiced yoga for almost twenty years and has taught unique populations of students  including seniors, pre/post natal mommies, at-risk youth, and eating disordered/addiction recovery individuals, as well as top athletes from the Los Angeles Lakers & Oscar-winning actors - for over a decade. Yoga & Fitness are her  passion and it is her quest to make both accessible to everyone, regardless of physical or schedule limitations. She loves to study, question, reflect, and share as much as she can, be it how to lose 20 pounds, or the proper way to train for your first 5K or Ultramarathon. Laurie is grateful to serve and learn from her beloved students.
